Today, we talked about Decision-Making. Students learned the six steps to decision-making, which are:
1. State the situation.
2. List the options.
3. Weigh the possible outcomes.
4. Consider your values.
5. Make a decision and act.
6. Evaluate the decision.
Students also learned what happens when they make responsible decisions, and that responsible decisions should lead to actions that:
1. Promote health.
2. Protect safety.
3. Protect laws.
4. Show respect for self and others.
5. Follow guidelines set by responsible adults/parents.
6. Demonstrate good character.
Students turned in their "Surviving High School" Assessments - they were due today.
Take Away: Learn the correct steps to good decision-making.
