Parents and Students,
This year, all 8th graders are going to be using Polar Heart Rate Monitors in Physical Education class. Students need to purchase a heart rate monitor strap for $5.00 in the main office on or before Wednesday November 11th. Students will be taught how to work the heart rate monitors that day, and then they will be running their 2nd Quarter Mile Run Fitness Test the same day in class. All 8th graders will be using these heart rate monitors and straps throughout the remainder of the school year.
