Today, students ran their 2nd Quarter Mile Run Test in class. Students were introduced to the Polar Heart Rate Monitors and learned how to use them during their mile run. We will be using these heart rate monitors in Physical Education class throughout the remainder of the school year, so it's important that each student purchases a strap for future classes.
Homework - Purchase a heart rate monitor strap ($5.00) in the main office if you haven't already. We will be using these heart rate monitors throughout the remainder of the year (as well as throughout their upcoming 9th grade year in Physical Education class).
