Wednesday December 2 (Health)

Starter #3- "List the six nutrients and give two examples of each."

Today we learned more about the six nutrients (Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, Vitamins, Minerals, and Water) by watching the video called "Health and Nutrition." What we eat is critical to our overall health, from our cells to our senses to how we feel. Cells need nutrients in order to function properly, and we get them from the foods we eat. It's important to maintain good health through a balanced diet (Food Guide Pyramid) and exercise.
