Today students learned about self-acceptance and self-image. They were given a Body Image Packet (blue). There are many methods of self-acceptance that a person can do to help build a positive and healthy self-image. Students also learned about the three different body types - Endomorph, Mesomorph, and Ectomorph.
In an article by Chad Thackett, he states, "Developing a healthy, positive image of yourself is the first critical factor in your fitness success. Having a strong sense of self-worth provides the basis for making rational and affirming decisions about your health."
Take Away: Identify the three body types. Learn how to accept your body.
